Frequently asked questions
- Is GridClimb free?
- Yes. The public beta is completely free and requires no wallet or purchase.
- Do I need a crypto wallet to play?
- No. Wallet verification is prepared for a future deployment but is disabled during the public beta.
- How is my score verified?
- The game engine computes the round score from your action log. The browser cannot submit an arbitrary final total.
- How often does the Daily Challenge reset?
- Every 24 hours at 00:00 UTC. Every player worldwide receives the same board that day.
- Can I pause a ranked round?
- No. Ranked rounds cannot be paused. Practice mode is fully pausable.
- What happens to my scores if the site adds token gating later?
- Historical scores are never deleted. Wallet holdings never retroactively affect placement.
- Are there cash prizes?
- No. GridClimb does not accept bets, deposits or paid entries and does not award money or cryptocurrency.
- How do divisions work?
- Rookie → Bronze → Silver → Gold → Platinum → Diamond → Crown. Placement is based only on verified performance.
