Frequently asked questions
- Is GridClimb free to play?
- Access to gameplay requires a verified Solana wallet holding at least 4,000,000 GCLB. There is no separate cash entry, subscription or paid purchase to play.
- Do I need a Solana wallet?
- Yes. You connect a Phantom, Solflare or Backpack wallet and sign a one-time verification message. GridClimb never transfers tokens, never requests spending approval and never asks for seed phrases or private keys.
- How is my GCLB balance checked?
- GridClimb reads your public token balance from the Solana blockchain server-side and sums all token accounts for the official mint. The check is repeated periodically and before every ranked run.
- What is the official GCLB mint?
- DyFGNzidqg1CJtUNfXkLd9mQ5BsoxKUxiBHx54vDpump on Solana mainnet. Always verify this exact string on the About GCLB page and on Solana Explorer before purchasing.
- How is my score verified?
- The game engine computes each round's score from your action log. The browser cannot submit an arbitrary final total.
- How often does the Daily Challenge reset?
- Every 24 hours at 00:00 UTC. Every eligible player worldwide receives the same board that day.
- Can I pause a ranked round?
- No. Ranked rounds cannot be paused. Practice mode is fully pausable.
- What if my balance drops below the requirement?
- Your access session ends and you must top up your balance and re-verify before playing again. Historical scores are never deleted.
- Are there cash prizes?
- No. GridClimb does not accept bets, deposits or paid entries and does not award money or cryptocurrency.
- How do divisions work?
- Rookie → Bronze → Silver → Gold → Platinum → Diamond → Crown. Placement is based only on verified performance.
